Oh God! So this summer I might actually be ending up going to Turkey for the second time in a row. My parents have this Turkish friend that lives in our apartment building and today he approached my dad asking me to go to Turkey and join a program which helps teach young Turkish children. This Program gets about 100 University/Collage students from North America’s top Cities; New York, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angelos. I’m still in high school so I don’t know if it will work out for me but again I have connections through my parent’s friend. The good thing about this program is not only it’s FREE, everything from airline tickets, to housing and tours, but it also gives you the chance to fly in other Turkish cities as well, tour, go to the beach…basically commit to fun activities and attractions from allover Turkey. But wait. There’s more, YOU GET PAID FOR IT! Only about $1000/4 weeks but that’s still okay for me being a teenager.  You also get a teaching certificate, giving me experience which I can use for university applications and if I want to join other overseas teaching programs. ( I really want to go teach in Abu Dhabi, yeah, there was a program for that). It sounds good to me, my sister is going for sure but I’m stuck and haven’t yet decided.

Also I get to choose the dates of my Istambul - Toronto ticket so since the program is ending in August 17 2012, that gives me the chance to take a 45 minutes flight to Albania (The country I was born in) and maybe go to Thessaloniki, Greece (I live four hours drive from it). 

It sucks because I’d only have 3 weeks to do that, meaning If I join this program I can’t go on a Costa Cruises tour that I was planning to go to which cruses around Italy, Spain and France. School starts in September 9-th so I want to make sure I go on time and don’t spend too many days on vocation. 

So that’s basically it. I don’t know where Ill end up Turkey - Albania - Greece OR Albania - Italy - France - Spain OR Maybe just not travel 12 hours all the way in Europe and just go to Mexico, Cancun  or Havana Cuba which are  basically 4-5 hour flight from me and of course so cheap and affordable. So where do I go? IDK; I don’t know.
